Incorporating Cognitive Functional Therapy into clinical practice – Physiotherapy managers’ perspective

Barry Savage has worked within the NHS in England since qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 1981 . Since 1995 he has worked at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, one of the largest Acute Teaching Hospitals in the UK, and is Therapy Specialty Lead for MSK with a base of 110 staff. A key area of activity is supporting staff and service development by linking the research and evidence base to clinical practice in the pursuit of clinical effectiveness for patient benefit.
